Rolta's joint venture with Shaw Stone & Webster, USA, one of the world's leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies, provides engineering design services for Stone & Webster projects globally and engineering, design, procurement and construction management projects for large refineries and petrochemical companies in India. The JV is very well placed to capture the huge opportunities from the emerging nuclear power sector by leveraging Stone & Webster's 115+ years of technology innovation and prowess.

Thales, France is a world leader in Mission-critical information systems for the Aerospace, Defence and Security markets. Rolta's Joint Venture with Thales, provides state-of-the-art Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (C4ISTAR) systems for Defence, Aerospace and Security markets worldwide. Leveraging Rolta's dominant position in the Indian market and taking advantage of transfer-of-technology from Thales, this JV is strongly positioned to address the significantly large Defence, Aerospace and Security markets in India and overseas.

Partnerships with CA, Microsoft and Oracle have enabled Rolta to execute over 500 local and international projects with specific focus in the areas of eSecurity, network management, enterprise applications and software development. A strategic agreement with CA for providing these services worldwide envisages a multi-fold growth year-on-year. The partnership with Oracle has been strengthened significantly for providing ERP services to our specialised markets and Rolta is carrying out an extensive in-house implementation for its global operations.

The recent strategically important acquisition of Orion Technology, Canada, enables Rolta to own exceptional technologies for taking its GIS offerings to the next level of sophistication.
