All candidates are absorbed at Rolta from Day 1 to meet the captive requirement of our production divisions. Rolta will recognize this 3-month program as equivalent to 1yr actual industry experience, for fixing the salary scale of all these new recruits. Rolta as a company provides ample opportunities for its employees to contribute to its success and grow in the organization.

The entire curriculum will be taught in a very secured and networked environment. All proven training methods will be used to make sure that the attendees are up to speed and will be productive in our production floors.

Candidates will be evaluated on a continuous basis through out the Program and the final outcome will be the result of averaging the overall performance during the full 3 months. However there will be a interview held to suitably place the Roltaites based on immediate project requirements of the individual business lines.

It will be our endeavor, that each candidate learns well the automation tools and contribute to business bottom line and make a career for himself.

Generally we cannot commit on any foreign assignments. However most of our customers are global customers and like all projects, several opportunities do come up from time-to-time for visiting the customer site, either to understand and kick-start a project, or do final delivery, handover and signoff.

It is for this reason there is a module of “Soft Skill” training across all the disciplines.

Since the candidate is an employee of Rolta from Day 1, any technical support will be provided on the job.

All HR activity for Rolta is done centrally at Rolta India Ltd. All short listed candidates via the entrance test etc., will be absorbed at Rolta India Ltd.

Objective of Rolta Academy is to make sure that candidates exploit the full benefits of the learning and hands-on opportunities provided in a secured environment, without losing out on our IPR. Access card is a mechanism to ensure that the secured environment and the security procedures as outlined in our brochure are adhered to.

Anyone without a access card will not be allowed to enter the Academy. A loss of access card will be taken very seriously, with heavy penalties etc.

EPC Stands for Engineering, Procurement and Construction & EDA stands for Engineering Design Automation.

ROLTA Network Security Program includes skills needed by an engineer to become a Security consultant and not just be aware of security concepts. We will be training on technologies needed to work on advanced platforms such as CA. The Program includes modules on advanced concepts such as C-I-A, Enterprise wide security. More over, it differentiated itself from hands-on experience provided.

An engineer has different rolls to play in EPC environment and the rolls may change as the person grows in his career ladder. A fresh engineers joining EPC will be inducted by giving lectures in flow of EPC contracting.

Phase I: This may be receipt of tender, estimation, bidding, contract management, cash flows, terms and conditions, technical compliances, participation in pre bid meetings and become successful bidder and getting awarded with contract for execution. We can say this is the first phase.

Phase II: engineering, procurement, project scheduling, inspection, logistics for equipment trans port, review meetings and so on

Phase III: Construction phase

Phase IV: Pre commissioning and dry runs and process runs and declaration of plant commissioning, guarantee runs and hand over

In all these phases’ engineers with discipline skills and proficiency skills to handle the total EPC function plays an important roll.
