  • Location : Mumbai
  • Professional Area : •Pre-sales consultant should need to be technically skilled with functional operational experience in Power industry.
    •Should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Power Distribution /Generation domain.
    •Should be able to communicate at multiple levels: Domain Stakeholders, technical architects, developers, IT system administrators and end-users.
    •In addition to that they should have familiarity with the market trend in terms of IT Automation in the Utilities Space.
  • Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and applicable experience or a successful track record with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in Domain. Technical background in systems engineering or programming is considered a plus. • Basic knowledge of BI, ERP, OMS, SAP IS-Utilities, payroll and/or finance systems. • Some background in technical product configuration or technology related experience in Utilities domain.

Job Responsibilities •Closely working together with the sales team on the qualification of prospects in the area of solution fit and service delivery expectations. •Delivery of various pre-sales activities – including responding to customer requests for information, developing and planning conceptual solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in meetings etc. •Providing technological guidance to new and potential Partner e.g. Proof of Concepts and workshops •Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services offerings and methodologies. •Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents. •Monitoring and managing the technical pre‐sales environments and Meeting customers and delivering product centric presentations •Delivering services to clients and partners in a pre-sales environment – Where appropriate, deliver chargeable services to clients and partners •Maintain strong internal communications with the Product , Project , Sales and Marketing team to collaborate on new or planned products, features, technical issues, advertising campaigns and promotions. •Must continually inform product development and marketing personnel about evolving customer preferences, complaints and needs, in addition to the status of competitors’ efforts and trends in the overall industry and marketplace. Technical Skills •A proven track record in a presales environment in a software solutions business. •Excellent knowledge of Power Distribution process and underlying technology. •A good knowledge and practice of any of Power Distribution and Power generation industry. •A good understanding of the IT Landscape prevalent in the Utilities Segment including ERP, MES, Plant Level Control Systems. •Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing) •Ideal candidate would have previous experience or domain expertise in the operations of a Utilities company.
