At Rolta, we have been providing training on the state-of-the-art technology and software tools to all our employees on or before they are assigned on customer projects. We have now setup an in-house Rolta Academy to provide this program in a very formal and structured manner.
The Academy provides an intense three months training program, as per requirements of the company using various leading software packages and Rolta domain expertise to enable you to jump-start your career and be a professional with distinct difference in skills.
Rolta Academy is a state-of-the-art facility, which has been setup with investments of millions of dollars, with cutting edge technology, software tools and a large dedicated faculty to drive these programs. Such an academy is not available anywhere in the country. It is specially set up for grooming and developing skill sets of new Roltaites.
Rolta academy is not a profit center, but is an investment in line with our corporate philosophy to enhance employee profile and skills.
In order to retain employees and to make it a win-win proposition for both the orgainsation and the employee, we have devised a unique cashless program wherein a non-recourse security deposit of Rs. 2,50,000/-, covering a part of the training cost, will be taken from the employee for imparting these high-end fulltime training program.
To facilitate funding of this amount, Rolta has entered into a strategic arrangement with Union Bank of India having a branch at Rolta Technology Park, to make the deposit available as an educational loan to the employee*.
In addition to your salary, Rolta will pay interest on the security deposit directly to the bank from day one. Further Rolta will refund the principal amount in equal installments directly to the bank on successful completion of third and fourth year of employment.
* Candidate has to comply with all the necessary bank documents.
Rolta academy has 33 full time internal faculty as well as 35 eminent visiting faculty, comprising of domain experts and engineering professionals with many years of industry experience in their respective fields.
Each faculty member at Rolta Academy brings a wealth of industry experience and domain knowledge. It comes from them spending several years in the areas of project execution technical support, training and hand holding of customers across a number of industries.
More importantly, they play multiple roles of not just trainers but also that of a mentor to help the candidate through the journey. The faculty members genuinely care about each Roltaites progress and help ignite their confidence while honing their technical skills through interactive sessions on real world scenarios, competencies, international best practices and soft skills using live project training sessions and industry case studies.
Openings are available from freshers to senior executive levels. Candidates must be Engineering Graduate / Masters in Computer Application / Geology / Geography / Remote Sensing.
Diploma Engineers with relevant experience will also be considered.
Fresh engineers will be taken at executive level-I whereas candidates with higher educational background and upto 5 years experience will be placed at higher levels.
Non-IT professionals having domain expertise in relevant fields will also be considered.

Candidates should register themselves online and apply on line with their scanned photographs duly attached giving their preferences of business groups they wish to join.
Based on initial screening of qualification with eligibility criteria required for the above business groups, candidates would be required to appear for an aptitude and technical test at any of the 47 test centers across the country as per their convenience at their own expenses. The test fee is Rs. 200/- (+ taxes, + other taxes)
The short-listed candidates will then be called for a final interview at Rolta's global headquarters in Mumbai. Selected candidates will be given an offer letter, which will be valid for a period of 15 days within which they can organise security deposit from the bank with the help of the company.
These openings will be filled up on a first-come-first-served basis and the initial posting will be in Mumbai. In due course the selected Roltaites can be posted in various parts of the world, based on corporate requirements and competence of the employee.
