ROLTA OnPoint™ is the engine that drives Rolta’s Geospatial Fusion solutions.ROLTA OnPoint™ is a full-featured spatial integration application with the ability to be configured to support business processes across unlimited business functions and industries.ROLTA OnPoint™ supports cross-platform spatial and business system integration. In terms of spatial solution interoperability, ROLTA OnPoint™ can consume spatial content from the leading GIS providers such as ESRI, Intergraph, GE-Smallworld, Bentley Microstation, MapInfo, Oracle Spatial and SQL Spatial.

OnPoint’s can connect to industry standard databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, Sybase, and any OBDC compliant data source via configurable web services. In addition, ROLTA OnPoint™ has the capability to connect to legacy data structures such as flat files and hierarchical files through the use of Rolta’s SOA platform: iPerspective™.

ROLTA OnPoint™ can be easily integrated with key business processes to support and augment specialized workflows. The ROLTA OnPoint™ Administrative Console facilitates the integration of map/table queries that can be launched from either the Web map interface or customer’s own Graphical User Interface (GUI). ROLTA OnPoint™ supports mapping (including Virtual Earth and Pictometry Online) and searches within SharePoint Portal and can be configured to work within a customer’s internal application. Web-based editing allows users to edit attributes in related tables. Provided the user has sufficient privileges, the attributes can even reside in external business systems. There is also a Coordinate Geometry (COGO) component.

ROLTA OnPoint™ Product Extensions include:

  • Microsoft® SharePoint Web Parts – ROLTA OnPoint can be easily integrated with key business processes to support and augment specialized workflows. The ROLTA OnPoint Administrative Console facilitates the integration of map/table queries that can be launched from either the Web map interface or the vertical application’s own Graphical User Interface (GUI). You now have ROLTA OnPoint™ maps (including VE & POL) and searches available within your SharePoint Portal along with all of your other internal systems.

  • Pictometry® NIW (local image warehouse) and Pictometry® Online - Pictometry imagery can now be displayed within ROLTA OnPoint™. Using our Pictometry extension, you can bring in all your ortho and oblique images as map services to ROLTA OnPoint™. You can empower your Pictometry imagery with our custom tools such as map navigation, rotate map, community and neighborhood views, smart navigator, measure, identify and north arrow.

  • Microsoft® Virtual Earth™ - Seamlessly integrate your data layers with your Virtual Earth subscription data, adding both base data and routing to your ROLTA OnPoint™ implementation.

  • E-Commerce - Provide support to financial administrators allowing them to utilize a prepaid subscription model within ROLTA OnPoint™ where users can purchase available maps and documents.

  • Google Maps - Google Maps can now be added as an additional Base Map Provider to ROLTA OnPoint. Integrate user GIS database content with Google Maps vector and imagery data. Users can now use ROLTA OnPoint™ and Google Map tools on integrated data.

  • Advanced Web-Editing - Web-based editing now allows you to edit attributes in related tables. Provided the user has sufficient privileges, the attributes can be in external business systems. There is also a Coordinate Geometry (COGO) component provided and bulk editing capability.

  • CartoPrint - Enables high-quality map printing extending capabilities directly from ArcGIS Server while displayed in an easy to use ROLTA OnPoint web-GIS browser interface. A simple series of steps allows the administrator to pre-configure detailed cartographic layouts which are then made available to the end users. These print templates allow for the quick and easy creation of production calibre cartographic renderings.
