Hyper spectral remote sensing is the science of acquiring digital imagery of earth materials in many narrow contiguous spectral bands. Hyper spectral sensors or imaging spectrometers measure earth materials and produce complete spectral signatures with no wavelength omissions.

Rolta provides end-to-end solutions for the utilization of data for natural resource management, GeoSpatial applications and information services. We facilitate remote sensing and GIS application projects based on hyper spectral and remote sensing for natural resources and environmental management.

We use our hyper spectral and remote sensing technology to harness space technology for applications in the areas of communications, broadcasting, meteorology, disaster warning, and search and rescue operations. During the past few decades, operational systems have been realized in all the above areas. The remote sensing component of the programme, in particular, has achieved global acceptance.
