Rolta Q1 Net Profit at Rs. 31.68 Crores, up 26.1%

Mumbai, October 26, 2005: Rolta India Limited India's leading CAD/CAM/GIS solutions and services provider, announced impressive Unaudited Results for its first quarter ending September 30,2005. The total sales of the company for the quarter were Rs. 90.51 Crores as against Rs. 75.04 Crores during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting a growth of 20.6%.

The Net Profit after tax for the quarter ended September 30,2005 was Rs. 31.68 Crores against a Net Profit of Rs. 25.12 Crores during the same quarter of the previous year, representing a growth of 26.1 %. The Diluted Earning Per Share and Cash Earnings Per Share for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 were Rs. 4.97 and Rs. 7.40 as against Rs 3.94 and Rs 6.35 in the previous year, signifying a growth of 26.1 % and 16.5 % respectively.
