Rolta amongst the 18 BS 15000 certified companies in the world

Mumbai, March 28, 2005:Rolta India Limited has announced that BSI (British Standards Institution) has recommended Software Testing practice of its eSolutions Strategic Business Group, for the premier BS 15000 certification the ultimate benchmark for IT Service Management (ITSM).

The assessment for the certification was conducted by BSI, the largest and most respected management systems registrar in the world supported by BSI Group Offices. This certificate covers Rolta's entire range of ITSM processes in providing Infrastructure and Application Support services, for client's world-wide and also includes the internal IT services of Rolta.

Currently there are only eighteen companies worldwide which have received the BS 15000 certification as listed on www.bs15000certification.com.

BS 15000 is a 'British Standard' specification that includes the best practices for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM). It provides a globally recognized and proven framework for high quality IT service delivery. It is the first worldwide standard specifically aimed at IT Service Management and is aligned with, and complimentary to, the process approach defined within an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
