Rolta Q3 Consolidated Net Profit at Rs. 33.03 Crores, up by 38.4%

Mumbai, April 24, 2006 : Rolta India Limited, India's leading CAD/CAM/GIS solutions and services provider, announced impressive unaudited results for its third quarter ending March 31, 2006.

The total consolidated income of the company for the quarter stood at Rs. 142.82 Crores as against total consolidated income of Rs. 110.46 Crores during the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting a year-on-year (y-o-y) growth of 29.3%. The consolidated Net Profit after tax for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 was Rs. 33.03 Crores. This represents a growth of 38.4 % y-o-y over the consolidated net profit of Rs. 23.87 crores in the corresponding quarter last year.

The total consolidated income registered a quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) growth of 7.7%, whilst the consolidated net profit also represents a growth of 10.6 % over that of the previous quarter ended December 31, 2005.

The Company's consolidated income for the nine-months period ended March 31,2006 registered growth of 30.5% and was at Rs. 393.47 crores as against Rs. 301.59 crores in the corresponding nine-months period last year. The consolidated net profit after tax for the nine-months period ended March 31, 2006 was higher at Rs 91.99 crores as against Rs. 65.63 crores in the previous year reflecting a growth of 40.2%.
